A week in the life of

Feel Good Food

We start each day by putting on our yellow overall and washing our hands. If we have long hair we tie it back.
Work begins when the bags come back. The bags get emptied, cleaned and all the containers washed up.

We check the stock and make the shopping list. We shop twice a week for fresh ingredients at the Co-op.

Meat comes from our local butcher, Paul Loader. Paul packs the meat in individual portions.

The meat gets labelled and put in the fridge. Other items like yoghurt and cheese also get put in the fridge.
Other foods get put away in the cupboards.

Next we lay out the bags and put in the checklists. The checklist makes sure we get all the things in the bag each week for each recipe.

Then the information card gets put in the front packet.
First the recipe cards go in the bag.

All the ingredients are measured and put into plastic containers or paper bags.

We use special scales for weighing out ingredients so that we get the amount just right.

All the ingredients get labelled...even the bananas.

Cool blocks keep the food chilled.
The Feel Good Food bags are all packed and ready to go out. People can cook a healthy and tasty meal and pudding in their own home.
